2026 Smart Girls Rock!

Wednesday, November 11, 2026 (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM) (CST)

Description

Science is cool. So is technology, engineering, arts, and math. And when our community rallies around getting girls excited about STEAM, the results really rock. This day-long, interactive mentoring event, hosted within the walls of a regional STEAM employer, connects the Fox Cities science and tech community with girls in area high schools. Smart Girls Rock! is designed to inspire students' interest in STEAM careers and provide them the academic and career planning guidance they need to get where they want to go.

Student Registration: Schools will be provided with information in the fall of 2026.

What to Expect:

The event will bring together mentors and students for a full day of learning, inspiration, and connection. Students will start the morning with a welcome and mentor introductions before rotating through three interactive exploration sessions, each featuring hands-on experiences with different STEAM-focused booths. Along the way, they’ll enjoy lunch, hear from the host, and have the chance to win raffle prizes. The day will close with a group photo and a final thank you, leaving students inspired and empowered by the opportunities ahead.
