Radiate Hope: Bringing Hope to Our Community!

Radiate Hope is Samaritan Counseling of the Fox Valley’s premier fundraising event, held this year in April to kick off Mental Health Month. This gathering brings together community members, business leaders, and supporters who share a common commitment: ensuring mental health care is accessible to all. Proceeds from the event support Samaritan’s full impact through counseling, prevention, and community care. These are the Fruits of Compassion we bear together.

Event Details:
“Radiate Hope” will be a festive cocktail hour celebration on April 30, 2026, from 5:00–8:00 PM at Bubolz Nature Preserve, Appleton. The evening will be emceed by Appleton Alderperson Vaya Lauren Jones,. Hear inspiring stories and enjoy live music!

Sandra Began returns as keynote speaker for Radiate Hope 2026, sharing her powerful journey of healing and resilience. A former Samaritan client who experienced the loss of her husband to suicide, Sandra previously spoke at Radiate Hope in 2017 and 2022. Now back in the Fox Valley, she reflects on how therapy has helped her rebuild her life over the past several years and discover renewed hope and purpose. 

The event will also feature two new games and the debut of our Seven Wonders of Wisconsin Live Auction. We'll enjoy cocktails and a delicious array of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres from Bridgewood Premier Catering. Save room for dessert from our Dessert Sponsor Whisk & Arrow. 

It will be a night of celebration, highlighting the collective power of our community to bring about positive change and support those in need.

Our Goal:
The primary goal of this event is to raise $40,000 to support Samaritan and the work we do through outpatient counseling, screening services, and community care.
