World Salamander Day Meet & Greet 🦎💚 📍 J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue – Menasha, WI 🗓 March 28 ⏰ Meet & Greet: 1:00–2:00 PM 💵 $5 Cash Per Person (Meet & Greet Only) 🎨 Drop-In Art Project: All Day 2:00-6:00 PM Did you know salamanders help keep our ecosystems healthy? 🌎 These quiet little amphibians are important “indicator species,” which means they help scientists understand how clean and healthy our water and forests are. Join us on World Salamander Day as we celebrate these often-overlooked animals! This special day was created by Save The Frogs! and is supported by conservation partners around the world to raise awareness for threatened salamander species. From 1–2 PM, enjoy a live Meet & Greet where you can see some of our salamanders up close and meet a few of their reptile and amphibian friends. Our team will share fun facts, conservation tips, and how YOU can help protect native wildlife. We’ll also have a drop-in salamander art project available all day long, perfect for kids and families.
