Controls Engineer

Location: Appleton, WI (remote or on-site depending on project)
Type: Contract / Part-Time (1099), with potential to transition into full-time

Control System Integrators is a growing startup helping manufacturers and OEMs modernize operations through smarter controls, data integration, and automation. We’re expanding and looking for an early engineer to join the team.

What You’ll Do

• Jump into PLC, HMI, and SCADA projects across a variety of industries
• Support system integration and software development (Python, SQL, MQTT, OPC UA)
• Work directly with clients to implement solutions, solve problems, and contribute ideas
• Learn fast, adapt, and help shape how we grow as a company

• Resourceful and willing to learn
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own time
• Willing to take ownership of projects and deliver impact

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate to start (no benefits for contract/part-time)
