JOB SUMMARY: 

This position plays a key role in supporting Project Managers and the company by delivering high-quality graphic design and creative services. The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling branding and marketing materials across various platforms. Key responsibilities include designing event and client-specific graphics including invitations, digital communications, signage and print materials.  In addition, for A-mazing Events this position will manage social media strategies, creating engaging content/graphics, website and overseeing digital communications to ensure alignment with business goals. 
 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Social Media & Digital Marketing: 

  1. Develop social media strategies and content calendars to drive engagement, growth, and brand awareness. 

  1. Monitor social media channels, respond to audience inquiries, and ensure a positive brand presence. 

  1. Create engaging content for various platforms, including graphics, videos, social media posts, blog posts, and email newsletters. 

  1. Identify target audiences and craft messaging that aligns with marketing goals of multiple stakeholders. 

  1. Conduct campaign reviews, gather feedback and provide accurate reports and analysis to clients and management. 

  1. Utilize SEO best practices to improve website traffic and search engine rankings. 

  1. Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, adjusting strategies to maximize engagement and ROI. 
     

Creative Management: 

  1. Design and produce creative materials for client events and marketing, including signage, flyers, invitations, registration sites, and other digital communications. 

  1. Develop original visual concepts, logos, and illustrations using design software while adhering to brand guidelines. 

  1. Oversee the company website, ensuring timely updates such as adding new testimonials and photos. 

  1. Manage the company’s social media presence, aligning strategies with business objectives and positioning A-mazing Events as an industry expert. 

  1. Partner with internal staff to ensure consistent and relevant online messaging. 

  1. Create presentation aids for Project Managers, including PowerPoint presentations, mockups, and galleries. 

  1. Edit, proofread, and finalize all creative projects with precision and attention to detail. 

 
SUMMARY OF SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: 

  1. Degree in Graphic Design or related field. 

  1. 3+ years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on content creation.  

  1. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) 

  1. Experience in managing social media platforms, content management systems, and digital advertising. 

  1.  Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword research, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). 

  1. Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. 

  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.  Along with the ability to proofread.  

  1. Commitment to staying informed of industry trends, continuously learning and applying new concepts. 

  1. Maintains high standards under pressing deadlines, ensuring thorough proofreading and accuracy in all materials and methods. 

 

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  1. Technical Operation: Able to operate a computer, calculator, and general office equipment, as well as event-specific equipment. 

  1. Confidentiality and Accuracy: Handle confidential data with integrity, meet deadlines under pressure, and work accurately with detailed information. 

  1. Adaptability: Quickly adapt to changing environments and tasks, manage multiple priorities, and work efficiently under pressure. 

  1. Problem-Solving: Effectively address and resolve issues that arise. 

  1. Team Collaboration: Work well with a team, providing support and taking on additional tasks as necessary. 

  1. Customer Interaction: Engage positively with clients and attendees, always maintaining a professional demeanor. 

  1. Physical Activity (as needed): Capable of occasional physical tasks such as moving marketing materials, setting up event displays, or assisting at event sites. 

  1. Time Management: Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines, especially when managing simultaneous projects or events. 

  1. Self-Motivation: Exhibit initiative and work independently with minimal supervision when required, while maintaining alignment with team goals and project timelines.
