Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or print/digital advertising sales preferably in outside sales
  • Strong relationship skills with a track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Aptitude and ability to match customer audience targeting goals with digital and print/magazine products and solutions
  • Experience with HubSpot or other CRM systems (MailChimp)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build business, restaurant, farm relationships
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a rural environment


Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation. Build and maintain strong relationships businesses in our food and drink culture network, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Conduct meetings and custom media buys (print, web, social experiences) to potential partners, sponsors and advertisers in Northeast Wisconsin. Collaborate with creative and editorial teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful advertising package execution. Meet or exceed advertising sales targets and goals. Up-to-date and knowledgeable about Northeast Wisconsin (Door, Brown, Manitowoc, Kewaunee, Outagamie, Calumet, Waupaca, Green Lake counties) food business trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape
