Appleton Area School District’s 15th charter school will open in the fall
The HMong American Immersion School (HAIS), Wisconsin’s newest culturally responsive public school, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house. Open to the public, this event will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22, at Johnston Elementary School, located at 2725 E. Forest St. in Appleton (map). The event will include a brief program, school tours and opportunities to meet the educators, families and leaders behind this initiative.
