Appleton Airport announces another record-breaking travel year in 2025

Sun Country Airlines will launch its inaugural flight from Appleton International Airport (ATW) today with a full flight. The carrier is the fifth airline to offer service at ATW and will have nonstop seasonal service to Fort Myers (RSW) from January 30, 2026, through April 13, 2026. Flights will depart twice weekly, with service increasing to four times a week starting in mid-March.

The City of Menasha announced today the official completion of the Racine Street reconstruction project, between Third Street and Ninth Street in Menasha. The project features new concrete pavement, new sidewalk, traffic signal upgrades, new pavement markings, and an improved railroad crossing.

Shoppers can find budget-friendly deals on school items at Goodwill North Central Wisconsin

Across north central Wisconsin and beyond, back-to-school and back-to-college spending has begun. Out of concern for rising prices, two-thirds (67%) of back-to-school shoppers had already begun purchasing items for the upcoming school year as of early July, according to the annual survey by the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics. Payments will become easier and transit more accessible for riders

Valley Transit, the public transportation service in the Fox Cities, will be officially launching its new payment system on August 1, 2025. WisGo, powered by Umo, allows riders to pay their fares using either a mobile app or a reloadable card. Additionally, Valley Transit is introducing fare capping, ensuring riders don’t pay more than a daily or monthly limit while using WisGo.
