Fox Cities Chamber program recognizes employers who demonstrate a significant commitment to promoting work/life integration for their employees

The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region has been certified as a Gold Employee Friendly Workplace by the Fox Cities Chamber. The Employee Friendly Workplace certification level is determined by the Fox Cities Chamber based on an organization’s ratings in four categories: paid leave and flexible work schedules, health & wellness support, financial support, and perks.

On February 5, the David L. & Rita E. Nelson Family Fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, was awarded the Wisconsin Park and Recreation (WPRA’s) “Partnership Award,” the state association’s highest award given to a community organization in recognition for their outstanding work and service in promoting and providing quality recreational and/or park opportunities for the residents of their community and beyond.

The David L. and Rita E. Nelson Family Fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region (Nelson Family Fund) awarded grants totaling $2,058,650, providing nonprofits and local municipalities with a much-needed financial boost.

The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, and Oshkosh Area Community Foundation are proud to announce the distribution of $1.5 million in grants through the 2025 Otto Bremer Trust Community Responsive Fund. This regional philanthropic partnership leverages the combined knowledge of the three foundations to address urgent needs and opportunities across 10 counties in Northeast Wisconsin.
