The Grand Opening of the Mary Beth Nienhaus Activity Center will be the new home of our organization (formerly known as the Thompson Center on Lourdes). This event will include a formal ribbon cutting with local dignitaries and community leaders, self-guided tours of our brand-new facility, refreshments, and activity demonstrations. We invite chamber members, supporters, and the public to join us in honoring this milestone and experiencing firsthand the vibrant, welcoming space created for adults aged 50 and older to connect, stay active, and thrive.
Mary Beth Nienhaus Activity Center offers more than 80 programs each week designed to promote wellness, lifelong learning, and social engagement for adults aged 50 and older. These include health and fitness classes, art and music workshops, technology training, support groups, and intergenerational activities. Our services help reduce social isolation, promote healthy living, and empower older adults to be their best selves. Participants come from across the Fox Cities and represent a vibrant, diverse group with a common goal: to remain active, connected, and valued members of their community.
