'26-'27 Innovate for Tomorrow: AI In Education & Business

'26-'27 Innovate for Tomorrow: AI In Education & Business

Monday, November 9, 2026 (4:00 PM - 6:30 PM) (CST)

Description

AI is showing up everywhere, including in our schools and workplaces. But how it’s being approached can look very different depending on where you sit.

Join us for the next session of the Innovate for Tomorrow series as we bring educators and business partners together to talk about how they’re approaching AI.

We’ll start with a practical overview of AI: what it is, how it works, common tools and models, and examples of how it’s already being used. Then, we’ll hear directly from people in education and business about what they’re seeing and experiencing.

We’ll talk about:

  • How AI is being used in schools and businesses today
  • Where people are leaning in and where they’re more hesitant
  • The questions, concerns, and opportunities coming up in both spaces
  • Where education and business are approaching AI differently
  • What each can learn from the other

The goal isn’t to convince anyone how they should feel about AI or to have all the answers. It’s to get education and business in the same room, hear what’s actually happening in each space, and leave with a better understanding of how our community is approaching AI.

This session is ideal for educators, school leaders, business professionals, and community partners who are curious about how AI is being used and discussed across education and the workplace.
