The Creative Marketing Specialist drives the visual and strategic marketing efforts for A-mazing Events and its clients. This role dedicates at minimum 50% of its time to designing and executing high-quality graphic design projects, ensuring visually compelling branding across all platforms. Responsibilities also include developing and managing social media strategies, creating engaging content, overseeing website design, and coordinating digital communications. Additionally, 25% of the role focuses on marketing strategies and campaigns, while a smaller portion involves communication tasks such as writing press releases, announcements, and proofreading. This position blends creative design expertise with strategic communication to elevate both internal and client brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media & Digital Marketing:
Develop social media strategies and content calendars to drive engagement, growth, and brand awareness.
Monitor social media channels, respond to audience inquiries, and ensure a positive brand presence.
Create engaging content for various platforms, including graphics, videos, social media posts, blog posts, and email newsletters.
Identify target audiences and craft messaging that aligns with marketing goals of multiple stakeholders.
Conduct campaign reviews, gather feedback and provide accurate reports and analysis to clients and management.
Utilize SEO best practices to improve website traffic and search engine rankings.
Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, adjusting strategies to maximize engagement and ROI.
Creative Management:
Lead creative design for client marketing and event materials, including signage, flyers, invitations, name tags, registration sites and digital communications.
Create visual concepts using design software to develop original images, logos, and illustrations.
Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and revise designs to meet requirements and ensure consistency with brand guidelines.
Marketing:
Develop marketing strategies by creating plans based on market trends, customer needs, and defined goals.
Manage marketing campaigns across advertising, promotional and social media channels ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Analyze marketing performance, evaluating the success of campaigns and reporting on metrics.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
Website Management:
Manage and update the A-mazing Events website to ensure content is current and engaging.
Develop and maintain websites for select clients, tailoring designs and functionality to their specific needs and goals.
Public Relations:
Maintain positive image through various marketing and communication initiatives.
Conduct research to understand public perception, industry trends, and competitors’ activities.
Write, edit, and proofread press releases, speeches, announcements, blog posts, and other communications.
Oversee public relations efforts, fostering positive relationships with community partners.
SUMMARY OF SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Graphic Design or related field.
3+ years of experience in marketing and graphic design, with a focus on content creation.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experience in managing social media platforms, content management systems, and digital advertising.
Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword research, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams. Along with the ability to proofread.
Commitment to staying informed of industry trends, continuously learning and applying new concepts.
Maintains high standards under pressing deadlines, ensuring thorough proofreading and accuracy in all materials and methods.
