Delivery Driver (Part-Time)

Crane Engineering is a family-oriented Midwest based company. As a result of our growth, we have a need for a part-time Delivery Driver to deliver and pick up parts and equipment. Route of deliveries and pick-ups are Wisconsin state-wide.

What You’ll Do

Demonstrate and promote Crane’s core values (Act with Integrity and Respect, Foster Teamwork, Focus on the Customer, Strive for Excellence and Innovation, Project Passion and Energy and Have Fun).

Follow delivery driving routes and time schedules.

Perform loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating delivery vehicle.

Assist preparing shipments in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and specifications.

Verify outgoing deliveries for correct materials, packing, crating, tagging, and handling instructions, loading and bracing.

Maintain a clean work environment while following DOT and safety regulations.

Assist with accurately preparing required customer and Crane documentation.

Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

      May perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent

A valid driver’s license

Must be able to meet CMV (commercial motor vehicle) requirements – Non CDL

Ability to follow verbal instructions

Positive, forward-thinking individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image

Well-organized and self-directed team player

Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 60 pounds.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Delivery Driver position is part-time 16 to 20 hours per week and has a competitive compensation structure within a values-focused culture.
