Lead Forklift Operator

KKIL has an immediate opening for a Working Lead position in our Neenah location. The ideal candidate must have forklift experience and the ability to lead by example. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for overseeing and training staff on the shift they are leading
• Train and operate various forklifts and attachments throughout the facility as required
• Work with the CSR to load/unload trailers and rail cars
• Review load sheets and complete all necessary paperwork for inbound and outbound loads
• Follow and train all safety rules and compliance standards with equipment and facilities
• Complete accurate inventory audits as required
• Coordinate employee work schedules to ensure adequate coverage of work schedule

• Strong attention to detail, organizational and follow-up skills are critical
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work alone efficiently as needed
• Flexible attitude

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Previous warehousing industry and forklift experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Works well within a team as a lead
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work self-directed
• Proficient at lead level paperwork
• Proficient computer skills and experience for the job
• Ability to operate a forklift for truck loading and unloading

This position is first shift Monday through Friday, with weekend work as required by customers.
