Position Purpose
To provide guidance, mentorship, and skill leadership in a diverse team and fast-paced metal fabrication environment. This role combines hands-on machine operation, technical expertise, and leadership to drive high standards in quality and production.
Position Responsibilities
- Promote a positive and respectful team culture grounded in cooperation and mutual support.
- Operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines (pipe cutter, structural cutter, clipper) with precision and safety.
- Oversee daily workflow, prioritize tasks, and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Collaborate with Project Foreman and maintenance teams to resolve mechanical and production issues.
- Track inventory and managing tool and equipment usage.
- Provide hands-on leadership for CNC operations while mentoring fellow tradespeople.
- Act as a resource and go-to person for technical troubleshooting, training, and guidance.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
