Description

Service, repair, recondition and assemble new and used customer and dealership equipment. Maintain and operate shop equipment and tools, performing quality work in a timely manner. Majority of the work is done in the shop, but some field travel may be required.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours + week) 

Responsibilities:

  • Accept repair orders as assigned by the Service Technician, Service Manager or assigned person.
  • Diagnose problems and determine what repairs are to be completed. 
  • Coordinate with Service office staff in communicating necessary repairs to customer and obtaining approvals.
  • Repair, service, recondition or assemble equipment as approved by the customer/ Service Manager.
  • Complete service inspections on equipment, making recommendations on repairs needed.
  • Communicate with customers in a positive, professional manner demonstrating patience in explaining repairs.
  • Precisely document time and work performed on job tickets provided in a legible and complete manner.
  • Conduct work in a safe manner, while following company safety guidelines.
  • Attend meetings, training sessions, and other company events and participate in a positive, professional manner.

Qualifications

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Previous related experience required
  • Knowledge of farm equipment preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license
