We created a simple door and window printable that local businesses can use to point people toward The Fox Valley Tornado Recovery Hub.
After the July 27 tornado, a lot of people are still trying to figure out where to find help, where to offer help, and where to share useful recovery resources without everything getting buried in scattered posts and comment threads.
This printable is meant to make that easier.
Businesses can print it and post it somewhere visible: a front door, window, counter, lobby, break room, community board, or anywhere customers, employees, neighbors, and visitors may see it.
The flyer is also easy to download and share directly. A Google Drive copy is available here: Download and share the flyer.
The Hub is free to use and does not require an account. It will be available for as long as it is needed.
This is not meant to replace 911, 211, emergency responders, local government, utilities, the Red Cross, Volunteer Fox Cities, or established relief organizations. It is meant to help people find practical starting points faster and help neighbors connect more clearly.
If you own, manage, or work at a local business and are willing to post or share the printable, thank you. Even one visible sign can help someone find the next step.
You can download the printable through the Decent Ops resources section, use the Google Drive flyer link, and share FoxValleyRecovery.org with anyone who may need help, wants to offer help, or knows of a useful recovery resource.
Every new listing helps. Every request, every offer, and every recovery resource makes the Hub more useful for everyone.
Find help. Offer help. Recover together.
