Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass Launches “What we do TOGETHER is EXTRAORDINARY!” Annual Fund Drive Campaign

Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass, a treasured community resource and revered in glass art worldwide, is proud to announce the launch of its annual fund drive campaign, “What we do TOGETHER is EXTRAORDINARY!” aimed at providing operational funding for the organization.

In 2025, the museum depended upon the generosity of benefactors to provide:

• FREE admission to 32,748 guests — a 5% increase over the year prior.

• 11,100 program participants in onsite and offsite extraordinary glass experiences.

• 700 Golden Ticket Art Activity Day scholarships to underserved populations.

• 2,464 class enrollees across 168 glass classes.

• 30+ creative community partnerships — a 15% annual increase.

• 284 artworks displayed across six exhibitions, and 266 gifted artworks to the Museum’s collection.

“We are truly grateful to be able to present these and other community-centered experiences, made possible only through the generosity shown by so many,” states museum Executive Director Amy Moorefield. “These public-funded events are the very embodiment of what we mean when we say ‘What we do TOGETHER is EXTRAORDINARY!’”

This year, generous museum supporters Kathy and Bob Brost, Jock and Maria Stafford, Sandra and John Valentine, and Christine Waterhouse have graciously agreed to a combined $40,000 matching gift during the year-end appeal. Donations will be amplified dollar-for-dollar!

The campaign will include public awareness efforts via direct mail, broadcast media, social media, and local/regional print publications.
