Appleton International Airport (ATW) announces Allegiant Airlines will provide the airport’s 6th nonstop route to Florida, this one flying to Fort Myers (RSW). The seasonal flight will begin service November 21, 2025.
With this route, Appleton expands warm-weather travel offerings to now include Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), which serves travelers to and from Fort Myers, Sanibel Island, Bonita Springs, Naples and Marco Island.
“This new route will make getting to Florida even easier for residents of Northeast Wisconsin,” said Scott Volberding, assistant airport director. “Our focus has always been to make travel faster, easier, and more convenient and that perfectly matches Allegiant’s investment to expand another route to Florida.”
Outagamie County Executive Thomas Nelson pointed out the significance of additional flights. “Any time a flight is added to ATW, it makes our part of the world a better place to live and work.” Nelson added, “The more accessible we are as a community, the more our businesses can grow.”
