Appleton Downtown, Inc. (ADI) is proud to announce a new partnership with the Appleton Area School District (AASD) to launch the Downtown Student Advisory Committee, officially kicking off on November 10, 2025.
This initiative will bring together 15 high school students from across Appleton high schools to actively participate in shaping the future of Downtown Appleton. The committee will serve as a platform to empower students to contribute ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate on projects that ensure Downtown remains vibrant, inclusive, and relevant for generations to come.
As part of the launch, ADI will award the committee $1,000 to invest in a student-led project that enhances Downtown Appleton. “We’re thrilled to partner with AASD to create a space where students can take action to enhance the Downtown,” said Jennifer Stephany, Executive Director of Appleton Downtown, Inc. “Their insights are invaluable as we look toward the future of our Downtown community.”
The Downtown Student Advisory Committee will meet regularly throughout the school year to explore improvement opportunities.
