Downtown Appleton is bringing the charm and excitement of Derby Day to the heart of the city with the Sip & Stroll Wine Walk – Kentucky Derby Edition. Ticketholders are invited to shop, sip, and stroll through their favorite boutiques and shops while enjoying Derby‑inspired wine samples, festive experiences, fabulous hats and great sales.
This year’s Wine Walk on Saturday, May 2nd, 1 – 4 pm, blends the elegance of Derby traditions with the vibrant energy of Downtown Appleton. Participants can expect wine samples (with non-alcoholic options available as well), exclusive in‑store specials, and unique photo opportunities throughout the district. Attendees are encouraged to dress to impress! Derby hats are highly recommended.
Adding to the celebration, BEAMING Inc. will bring a horse to Houdini Plaza for a memorable photo opportunity during the Wine Walk. Donations are welcome to support their mission of providing equine‑assisted services to individuals with unique needs. Guests can snap a photo, meet the horse and give back to a meaningful local cause.

Tickets are available through the Appleton Downtown, Inc. website. On the day of the event, attendees must check in at the Appleton Downtown, Inc. office between 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to receive their official ticket, wristband, and swag bag.
