Avenue of Ice Opening Moved to Saturday, February 21 at Noon

Due to forecasted weather conditions, Downtown Appleton’s Avenue of Ice Carvings will now begin on Saturday, February 21 at noon.
This adjustment has been made to help preserve the integrity and longevity of the ice sculptures, ensuring the community has the best possible opportunity to enjoy this year’s display. By shifting the start date, organizers aim to extend the life of the carvings and enhance the overall experience for visitors.
Featuring 26 ice sculptures throughout Downtown, this year’s theme celebrates “Things We Love About Wisconsin.” The sculptures will be placed and ready for viewing by noon on Saturday and are free to explore.
Visitors are encouraged to stroll Downtown, take photos, and support local businesses while enjoying the display. A full list of sculpture locations is available on the Downtown Appleton website.
