Casa Hispana will host its annual Scholarship Gala on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Poplar Hall from 4:30 to 9:00 PM to celebrate the 2026 scholarship recipients. The evening will bring together students, families, community leaders, donors, and partners to recognize academic achievement and commitment to community service among local Hispanic and Latinx youth.

About the Scholarship Recipients
This year’s scholarship recipients represent rising leaders who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a strong commitment to giving back to their communities. Recipients will share brief remarks during the program in video format, followed by formal award presentations. Casa Hispana awards scholarships to support postsecondary education and career training, aiming to reduce financial barriers and expand opportunities for Hispanic and Latinx students.
Highlights and Programming
The program will include remarks from Casa Hispana’s Interim Executive Director, Board of Directors, and committee members. Featured remarks will be delivered by two distinguished speakers, with Ignacio Enriquez serving as the featured speaker, joined by Maribel Contreras. The evening will also include acknowledgments of major donors and community partners. Photo and interview opportunities with recipients and organizers will be available.
