Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) has launched 1Core SuperSub, a new platform connecting qualified early childhood professionals with child care centers and certified family child care providers across the Fox Valley. The system supports both individuals seeking flexible work and child care programs facing ongoing staffing shortages.
1Core SuperSub offers a self‑employed substitute model, allowing early childhood professionals to choose when, where, and how often they work. Substitutes are independent contractors—not employees of CCR&R—and accept assignments directly through the mobile‑friendly 1Core SuperSub app. CCR&R recruits and verifies all substitutes and ensures they complete required state trainings, including CPR and First Aid, before entering classrooms. 1Core SuperSub is available for all child care programs and early education professionals in CCR&R’s 8 county service delivery area.
• Self‑employed with full schedule control
• Choose preferred programs and locations
• Accept jobs directly through the app
• Option to work at multiple programs

The child care staffing shortage continues to affect families, employers, and communities. 1Core SuperSub provides a reliable solution by connecting programs with background‑checked, fully trained substitutes who can fill both planned and unexpected absences.
