Decent Ops Launches Fox Valley Tornado Recovery Hub as a Response to the July 27 Tornado

After the July 27 tornado, we saw a practical community need: people needed one easier place to find help, offer help, share resources, and take the next useful step.

So Decent Ops built The Fox Valley Tornado Recovery Hub as a donated community service project for the Fox Valley. The site has officially launched and you can visit it at www.FoxValleyRecovery.org.

The site is designed to help affected residents, neighbors, helpers, organizations, and local businesses connect around real recovery needs without requiring another account, app, or signup.

What the site currently includes

• A resource directory for shelter, food, water, clothing, transportation, utility help, cleanup, financial support, and other recovery needs
• A community board where people can ask for practical help or offer specific help
• Official update links so residents can check current information before traveling or sharing
• Recovery guides for immediate tornado aftermath and future household preparedness
• Safety reminders for damaged property, utilities, scams, donations, volunteering, and public listings

This project is not meant to replace 911, 211, local government, emergency responders, utilities, the Red Cross, Volunteer Fox Cities, or established relief organizations. It is meant to help people find those starting points faster and help neighbors connect more clearly.

Fox Valley Recovery is still growing. Recovery needs can change quickly, and so can temporary shelter, transportation, donation, volunteer, and assistance information. Please confirm urgent or time-sensitive details through official sources before traveling, volunteering, donating, or sharing.
