Appleton Downtown, Inc. (ADI) is excited to bring the Light the Night Market, presented by Fox Communities Credit Union, back to Downtown Appleton to kick off the summer season. Appleton Downtown, Inc. transforms Downtown Appleton into an open-air market on Friday, May 30 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Performances by local artists and entertainers, local vendors, cultural performances, food trucks, hands-on activities, and more will fill College Avenue with excitement and fun! This event has no admission fee and is open to the general public. Food, beverages, and local, handmade goods are available for purchase.

We can’t wait to see the community come together to enjoy this amazing event!” said Novak.
This month’s event will feature a Renaissance flair with unique features including LARP, maypole dancing, and more! The Houdini Plaza stage features Mischief and Magic, Angel & Rondini the Magician, Oak Apple Morris Dance Group, and a musical performance by FBI & The Untouchable Horns.
Other performers and activities on the street and in the plaza include , Bombastic Bubble Show with Angel, LARPing in Houdini Plaza, Cloud Nine Fire Show sponsored by Kelly Davies Real Estate on Morrison Street, Fairy Characters, Traveling Snake Show, the Super Moon, sponsored by BMO Bank, Mischief & Magic-LED Wall, face painting, balloon animals, and flower crown making with Hazelmade Art Studio (while supplies last).
The featured ride this year is a pirate ship, which will transport riders to the open seas by swinging back and forth. Rides are $2 per person per ride. Riders must be 42” tall or ride with an adult.
