Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance to Break Ground on First Fields into Filters Demonstration Site

Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance will host the groundbreaking for the first Fields into Filters demonstration site on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 8:15 a.m. at Graziano Gardens LLC, W3280 Akron Ct., Pine River, WI 54965.

The project is the first of three demonstration sites in the Fields into Filters initiative, which showcases conservation practices that improve water quality while supporting productive farmland. The sites will provide opportunities for farmers, landowners, conservation professionals, and community leaders to see these practices in action and learn how they can be incorporated into working farms.

"Today's groundbreaking is the first of three Fields into Filters demonstration sites that will showcase conservation practices farmers can see in action," said Tim Burns, Agriculture Conservation Coordinator for Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance. "These sites will provide opportunities for farmers, landowners, and conservation partners to learn from real-world examples and explore practical solutions that improve water quality while supporting productive agriculture."

Members of the media and the public are invited to attend.
