The Fox Valley Technical College Venture Center is launching a new networking and learning series designed to connect entrepreneurs, small business owners and startup leaders from throughout Northeast Wisconsin.
Fuel the Founders: Coffee & Connections was created in response to interest from Venture Center alumni and local business leaders who wanted additional opportunities to gather, network and learn from peers.
"We launched Fuel the Founders after hearing from our alumni and others within the community who wanted opportunities to connect in an informal setting a handful of times a year, while also learning about topics important to small business owners,” said Doug Schacht, director of the FVTC Venture Center. "Fuel the Founders accomplishes both - coffee and conversation with a little bit of learning sprinkled on top."
The first Fuel the Founders event will be held Sept. 24 at the FVTC Bordini Center in Appleton and will feature Bryan Stafford, founder of Fava Tea Company, presenting "AI Without the Overwhelm: Practical AI Solutions for Everyday Business Challenges."
During the event, Stafford will share practical ways business owners can use artificial intelligence to save time, improve efficiency and tackle everyday business challenges without expensive tools or complex technology. Attendees will leave with a framework for determining when AI is the right tool, examples of practical AI applications and actionable ideas they can implement immediately.
