Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity is inviting the community to celebrate the women who inspire, strengthen, and build our families, workplaces, and neighborhoods through its 2026 Women Build "Show Your Support" Campaign.
The campaign encourages individuals, businesses, community organizations, and local leaders to recognize the women who have made a difference in their lives while helping raise awareness and support for Habitat's Women Build initiative.
Women Build is a national Habitat for Humanity program that engages, educates, and empowers women to help build safe, affordable homes while creating stronger communities. The Greater Fox Cities Area Women Build brings together volunteers, donors, sponsors, and advocates from across the area to help a local family achieve affordable homeownership.
Community members are encouraged to participate by:
Participants who choose to make a donation may dedicate their gift in honor or memory of someone special. The honored individual's name will be permanently added to the home's main beam, creating a lasting tribute within a home that will serve a local family for generations.
"Women Build is about much more than building a house," said Renee Ladewig-Lathrop, Donor Relations Manager for Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity. "It's about recognizing the women who have helped build our lives through their strength, compassion, leadership, and encouragement. Every post, every volunteer, and every donation helps build both homes and hope."
Construction on the 2026 Women Build home is underway, with volunteers continuing throughout the summer and fall before the home is dedicated later this year
