Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. is excited to announce the addition of three key staff members to its construction team. Nick Marek and Jeff McArthur have joined Hoffman as field project managers, while Zach Stahowiak will serve as a project manager. Marek, McArthur, and Stahowiak will work closely with Hoffman’s clients and subcontractors, serving as project contacts and ensuring the construction process runs according to plan.
Marek comes to Hoffman with more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, primarily in Northeast and Central Wisconsin. Marek earned his Union Apprenticeship from the North Central States Regional Counsel of Carpenters and has served as a journeyman carpenter, carpenter foreman, and project superintendent throughout his career. Marek is serving as field project manager for the Shawano School District referendum projects, which will positively impact the District’s four schools as well as their football stadium.
McArthur joins Hoffman with more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, having served in the past as a senior superintendent, regional field manager, and owner of his own construction company for 12 years. McArthur has also served as a Building Trades Instructor at Moraine Park Technical College, Hamilton Sussex High School, and with the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin. He is a graduate of the ABC Carpentry Apprenticeship Program at Moraine Park Technical College. McArthur honorably served as an F-4 aircraft maintenance specialist and crew chief in the United States Air Force. McArthur is serving as field project manager on the Sandy Slope Elementary School construction project, which will become the 17th elementary school in the Appleton Area School District.
Stahowiak, who arrives at Hoffman with five years of construction experience managing projects in Northeast Wisconsin and across the country, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where he studied construction management. In his role at Hoffman, Stahowiak will be managing projects for the Shiocton School District, as well as Aspiro in Green Bay.
"We are thrilled to have Nick, Jeff, and Zach join us at Hoffman,” said Terry Ellenbecker, Hoffman’s director of field project management and owner. “All three possess an impressive amount of industry experience, dedication, and knowledge. Our clients will be in good hands when Nick, Jeff, and Zach manage their projects and serve on their behalf with their best interests in mind.”
