Registration is now open for the Fox Cities Chamber Octoberfest Golf Outing – a fun event that will give participants a chance to raise their steins (and their golf clubs!) to raise funds and have some fun along the way.
The Octoberfest Golf Outing is designed to be a preview of what’s to come at Appleton’s Octoberfest, and is returning to High Cliff Golf and Event Center on Thursday, September 11, with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
The event, which began in 2023, was so popular that 100% of the golfers who participated in 2023 returned in 2024.
Last year alone, nearly 100 nonprofits were directly impacted by funds raised at Octoberfest, and the Octoberfest Golf Outing. Participation in these events, whether as a golfer or sponsor, ensures that the Chamber can continue to support these organizations.
The four-person scramble begins with a celebratory toast. Beer and food samples will be available along the course so golfers can get their fill of Octoberfest ales, brats, pretzels, and more. It's a taste of what's to come at this year's Octoberfest that will leave participants wanting more! The post-golf reception will feature a variety of food trucks.
On the course, golfers will enjoy Octoberfest-themed games. Golfers who dress for the theme could become a Lederhosen Legend. There will be prizes for the best dressed team - dress in dirndl, lederhosen, blue & white, etc.
Cost is $500/foursome for Chamber members, and $600/foursome for nonmembers. New this year, participants have the opportunity to pre-purchase an Ultimate Team Package to save time at check-in. The $80 package includes 4 mulligans, 4 feet of string & scissors, 4 foot wedges and 4 grenade balls to be shared among the team. This package can be added at checkout.
