NEENAH CELEBRATES AMERICA’S 250th ANNIVERSARY

A Collaboration Between the City of Neenah Parks & Recreation, Future Neenah, Inc., and Neenah Residents

“We the People” Decorating Initiative

Neenah Parks & Rec is kicking off an exciting Community Decorating Initiative to mark America’s 250th anniversary as part of CommunityFest 2026. This initiative invites residents to adorn their homes with a “We the People” theme from June 27 to July 12. A "People's Vote" will be held on June 27-28, where community members will have the opportunity to vote for homes they believe best exemplify the three categories: the Community Spirit Award, the We the People Award, and the Neighbors’ Choice Award. Voting will be accessible through a link on the Neenah-Menasha CommunityFest Facebook page.

Downtown Businesses Red, White, and Blue Decorating Initiative

Future Neenah will be encouraging downtown businesses to join the celebration with patriotic displays from June 26 to July 12, adding a vibrant touch to the area with red, white, and blue decorations.

Patriotic Wisconsin Ave. Alley Decorations

The pedestrian alley next to the Future Neenah office on 135 West Wisconsin Avenue will feature hand-crafted patriotic decorations created by students from the Neenah Joint School District. These decorations will include items like bomb pops, stars, and firecrackers. While you’re taking a summer stroll throughout the district, be sure to check it out!

All American Fireworks N Scavenger Hunt

The fun continues with the "All American Fireworks N Scavenger Hunt," running from June 26 to July 12. Participants will search for ten fireworks-themed N symbols throughout the downtown district. Those who find them all will have a chance to win prizes such as Brewers tickets or cookie six-packs from Great Harvest. Scavenger hunt forms and clues can be printed from neenah.org or picked up at the Future Neenah office, with completed forms due by 9 a.m. on July 13. Example graphic of a firework N is attached.

New Limited-Edition CommunityFest Apparel

In addition to the home decorations, there is limited-edition CommunityFest apparel available for pre-order until June 12. The collection, featuring a special 2026 commemorative logo, can be pre-ordered through theprinthouse-llc.com, on the Community Fest shop. Only t-shirts will be available for purchase during the event, so pre-orders are highly recommended.

All residents and visitors are invited to participate in this extraordinary celebration!
