The Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction is excited to share PaceSetters of the Fox Cities’ training runs will begin Saturday, May 30, 2026. Always free and available to anyone, whether you are participating in a Fox Cities Marathon event or not, these weekly training runs start at 7 a.m. every Saturday, rain or shine, at Telulah Park in Appleton.
Training routes are designed for the Fleet Feet 10K (6.2 miles), ThedaCare Half Marathon (13.1 miles) and Community First Fox Cities Marathon (26.2 miles). The distances for the half and full marathon training runs gradually increase week by week.
The weekly training runs leading up to race weekend will include:
PaceSetters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the second-largest running club in the state of Wisconsin and the official training group of the Fox Cities Marathon. The PaceSetters provide support to runners and walkers of all ages, paces and experience levels.
“Year after year, PaceSetters plays a vital role in helping participants prepare for their races,” said Julie Johnson, race director. “These training runs allow participants to get familiar with the course, build their endurance and connect with others in the running community, making them an invaluable resource for the Fox Cities Marathon weekend of events.”
