Happy Holidays from Rebuilding Together Fox Valley! In this season of joy, we announce that our current Executive Director, Chip Wood, will be leaving our Rebuilding family to step into his ministry career. We appreciate the contributions and leadership that Chip has made to the agency and wish him well in his new career.
Vaya Lauren Jones will be succeeding Chip in the role of Executive Director and will begin on January 5, 2026. Vaya is a skilled leader with deep roots in the Fox Valley, serving as an Alderperson for the City of Appleton, previously leading the Social Determinants of Health Team for ThedaCare, and serving in multiple volunteer roles for the United Way Fox Cities, Fox Cities Housing Alliance, Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, Women’s Fund for the Fox Valley Region Brighter Female Futures Advocacy Group, the Mary Beth Nienhaus Activity Center, Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce, and Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra.
Vaya’s passion for safe and healthy housing, her understanding of the needs of Fox Valley residents, and her friendships developed over decades of service uniquely position her to lead Rebuilding Together Fox Valley in its statewide expansion. We look forward to partnering with her in repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives.
