Rhythms of the World Celebrates Multicultural Music and Dance in Downtown Appleton

The annual Rhythms of the World celebration will return to downtown Appleton on Saturday, September 20. The event will feature music and dance performances from a wide variety of cultural groups.
“Rhythms of the World has become a great annual cultural happening when the community comes together to celebrate music and dances from around the globe,” said Balakuntalam Sridhar, member of the Rhythms of the World Committee. “Harmony, friendship, and mutual respect are the invaluable rewards for all.”
Performances will take place in Houdini Plaza and at the Building for Kids Children’s Museum. This is a free event and all are welcome.
“Rhythms of the World is so much more than music, dance, and food,” said Timber Smith, Emcee of Rhythms of the World. “It’s a celebration of the amazing people, diverse cultures, and authentic stories that make Appleton such a welcoming and vibrant community.”
In addition, the Building for Kids Children’s Museum will host Rhythms of the World Free Day from 9am – 4pm. Admission to the museum and all of its exhibits will be free to the public.
