The Civic Fox is a civic clarity resource built for the Fox Valley.
Its purpose is simple: help residents follow local public life with more clarity, more context, and less noise.
Public information is often available, but that does not always make it easy to find, understand, or follow over time. The Civic Fox helps close that gap by organizing public records, explaining civic processes in plain language, and keeping selected local issues in view through source-backed civic trails.
The site currently includes civic explainers, local civic resources, The Fox’s Den source library, and Follow the Fox, a section for tracking selected public issues through records, dated updates, and plain-language status notes.
The early focus is Appleton and surrounding Fox Valley communities. This is home ground for The Civic Fox, and the work is being built with that local responsibility in mind.
The guiding purpose is simple:
From civic process to civil understanding.
The Civic Fox is available at thecivicfox.com.
