This fall, neighbors, partners, and changemakers from across the region will gather to celebrate the wins that keep local water quality moving in the right direction. The Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance will host its annual Happiest Hour on Thursday, October 2 at The Hillside at Plamann Park in Appleton.
The event highlights clean water progress across the Fox-Wolf watershed, with a focus on the people behind it. From volunteers and farmers to teachers and local businesses, the Happiest Hour shines a light on those making a difference where it matters most.
Guests can expect an evening filled with stories, connection, and a few high-fives. This is a celebration of the progress we’ve made together and the momentum that's still building.

Nominations are now open for the 2025 Community Impact Awards, which honor individuals and organizations working to improve water quality throughout the region. Whether it’s leading a conservation project, improving stormwater practices, or building community awareness, every action counts.
“If you know someone who’s making a real difference for local water, we want to hear their story,” said Jessica Schultz, Executive Director of Fox-Wolf.
Community Impact Awards recognize those in agriculture, education, municipal leadership, volunteer service, and community collaboration. Nominations are being accepted through August 21st.
