WHBY's dedication to powerful local stories received recognition Saturday night. The station earned the Best Significant Community Impact award at the 2025 Wisconsin Broadcasters Association (WBA) Awards Gala. The event, held at the Madison Marriott West in Middleton, celebrated excellence in broadcasting across Wisconsin for content broadcast in 2024.
The Women Who Wow Us series shines a spotlight on extraordinary local women from diverse backgrounds who are creating change and breaking barriers. Hayley Tenpas of Focus Fox Valley hosts the series, which inspires and empowers the community.
In addition to the community impact award, WHBY was recognized in multiple categories. These include digital content, election coverage, website, newscasts, and special features, highlighting the station's strength in journalism, talk programming, and digital storytelling.
