Appleton Airport announces another record-breaking travel year in 2025

Sun Country Airlines will launch its inaugural flight from Appleton International Airport (ATW) today with a full flight. The carrier is the fifth airline to offer service at ATW and will have nonstop seasonal service to Fort Myers (RSW) from January 30, 2026, through April 13, 2026. Flights will depart twice weekly, with service increasing to four times a week starting in mid-March.

Missions of Honor becomes parent organization

Leaders of the non-profit Old Glory Honor Flight announced today the organization is rebranding the organization to Missions of Honor effective (January 1, 2026). This evolution allows the organization to continue serving veterans through a variety of special flights and events that have fallen outside the Honor Flight parameters.

Appleton International Airport officials announce Brittany Gudex has been hired as the air service and business development manager. In this role, she will be responsible for expanding the airport’s revenue sources and outreach in the community. Items under her direction include growing new destinations from ATW and steering economic development at the airport’s properties. For the past 15 years, Gudex has been working in the automotive and power sports sectors.

Appleton International Airport (ATW) announces Allegiant Airlines will provide the airport’s 6th nonstop route to Florida, this one flying to Fort Myers (RSW). The seasonal flight will begin service November 21, 2025.

CONSULTATION FOR ACDBE OPPORTUNITIES AT APPLETON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ATW)

Outagamie County (COUNTY) has established an Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) Program for the Appleton International Airport (ATW) in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 23. The COUNTY anticipates it will receive Federal financial assistance from the Department of Transportation, and as a condition of receiving this assistance, ATW has signed an assurance that it will comply with 49 CFR Part 23.
