Packer nation can travel on more routes

Officials at Appleton International Airport (ATW) announce expanded service to Packer away games with routes confirmed by Allegiant Airlines today. Allegiant will offer an additional route to Los Angeles for the Nov. 25 away game—a nonstop flight from Appleton to John Wayne International Airport (SNA). Allegiant is also adding an additional nonstop flight to the St. Petersburg, Florida (PIE) airport for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game Oct. 4, 2026. In all, Allegiant will have nonstop service to four Florida airports.

Appleton International Airport (ATW) officials were recognized by the Wisconsin National Guard for meritorious service during the redeployment of the 2nd Battalion, 127th Infantry Regiment. The honor cites the planning and hospitality that ensured a safe and dignified welcome home for over 600 returning soldiers when they arrived at the Appleton Flight Center. The citation honored ATW staff members for the highest ideals of community partnership.

Appleton Airport announces another record-breaking travel year in 2025

Sun Country Airlines will launch its inaugural flight from Appleton International Airport (ATW) today with a full flight. The carrier is the fifth airline to offer service at ATW and will have nonstop seasonal service to Fort Myers (RSW) from January 30, 2026, through April 13, 2026. Flights will depart twice weekly, with service increasing to four times a week starting in mid-March.

Leaders of the non-profit Old Glory Honor Flight announced today the organization is rebranding the organization to Missions of Honor effective (January 1, 2026). This evolution allows the organization to continue serving veterans through a variety of special flights and events that have fallen outside the Honor Flight parameters.

In this role, she will be responsible for expanding the airport’s revenue sources and outreach in the community. Items under her direction include growing new destinations from ATW and steering economic development at the airport’s properties. For the past 15 years, Gudex has been working in the automotive and power sports sectors.

CONSULTATION FOR ACDBE OPPORTUNITIES AT APPLETON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ATW)

Outagamie County (COUNTY) has established an Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) Program for the Appleton International Airport (ATW) in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 23. The COUNTY anticipates it will receive Federal financial assistance from the Department of Transportation, and as a condition of receiving this assistance, ATW has signed an assurance that it will comply with 49 CFR Part 23.
