In a strategic move to support continued growth and operational excellence, Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. has named vice president of architecture, Chad Ulman, as chief operating officer. Ulman’s duties as chief operating officer began on May 1.

Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. is excited to announce the addition of three key staff members to its construction team. Nick Marek and Jeff McArthur have joined Hoffman as field project managers, while Zach Stahowiak will serve as a project manager. Marek, McArthur, and Stahowiak will work closely with Hoffman’s clients and subcontractors, serving as project contacts and ensuring the construction process runs according to plan.

Sr. Jane Herb, IHM, will collaborate with religious congregations across the country

Sr. Jane Herb, a member of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) in Michigan, has joined the Religious team at Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. As Hoffman’s newest Facilitation & Engagement Specialist, she offers a unique perspective on Hoffman’s planning efforts with religious communities and is well positioned to support religious projects across the country.

District Working with Hoffman on $51.2 Million Referendum Project

Community members, school district representatives, and students attended a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, for the Shawano School District to kick off improvements to Hillcrest Primary School, Olga Brener Intermediate School, and Shawano Community Middle School.

The Shawano School District will break ground on facility projects at Olga Brener Intermediate School, Hillcrest Primary School, and Shawano Community Middle School, as part of the referendum approved in November 2024.

History and ambiance will intertwine in the new Vault 202 Brewery & Taproom, which is scheduled to open later this summer in the space next to Chase Bank on College Avenue in Appleton. The investors of Vault 202 partnered with Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. on the renovation to bring the concept to life.
